You might be thinking, "How can the sweet intimate worship of God be a destructive weapon to do violence to Satan’s kingdom?" The answer is these weapons include actions we do in praise and worship.
Praise and worship, and the resulting power of God’s presence, has an effect on demons of darkness. Some of these weapons have saved our daughter's life and may save your life or that of a loved one.
God knows the struggles you would have with demonic forces and has given you weapons to use to resist them. Eph 6:12 says "We wrestle...against rulers, ...authorities, ...cosmic powers over this present darkness, ...the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places." The Jewish Bible says in Eph 6:13 “we are fighting “spiritual forces…so take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won you will be still standing.”
WORD OF GOD - Eph 6:17 “And take…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
BLOOD OF JESUS - Rev 12:11 “They overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb…”
NAME OF JESUS – Mark 16:17 “ …in my name they will cast out demons.”
YOUR TESTIMONY - Rev 12:11 “They overcame him….by the word of their testimony”
STOMPING / MARCHING - Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on (crush) serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, …”
PROPHECY 1 Tim 1:18 “…remember the prophecy that was spoken over you; use it to wage a good warfare.”
LIFTED HANDS - Ex 17:11 “When Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed & when he let down his hand, Amalek (evil) prevailed”
CLAPPING - Job 27:23 “Men shall clap their hands at him, And shall hiss him out of his place”; clapping shows contempt and scorn and is to drive an adversary away. Also a response to overwhelming emotion. Ps 47:1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph!”
SHOUTING - Josh 6:20 “… it happened when God’s people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat.” Ps 47:5 - “God has gone up with a shout, The Lord with the sound of a trumpet.”
PRAY IN THE SPIRIT - Eph 6:18 “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,”
HIGH PRAISE - Ps 149:6-9 “Let the high praises of God (praise that rises & crescendos; battle cry of an army) be in their mouth,… (8) To bind (take captive) their kings (rulers of darkness) with chains … To execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor (privilege) for all His godly ones…”
SINGING PRAISE - 2 Chron 20:22 “Now when they began to sing and to praise (tehillah), the LORD set ambushes against the (demonic) army of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated”
I encourage you to use these weapons when facing attacks of the enemy. They make no sense in the natural but the Bible says they are spiritually powerful. "The weapons of our warfare ... are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds..." 2 Cor 10:4. Remember to take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won you will be still standing.”
