WEAPONS OF WORSHIP

February 6, 2018

You might be thinking, "How can the sweet intimate worship of God be a destructive weapon to do violence to Satan’s kingdom?" The answer is these weapons include actions we do in praise and worship. However, we may not have used them knowing their complete purpose. Let me explain.

Most Christians, and even pastors, don’t know what happens when they worship God because they have not studied worship in the Bible or they have not told them. That is why I have given my energy to writing books—to make it easy to understand. Praise and worship, and the resulting power of God’s presence, has an effect on demons of darkness.

These weapons have saved the life of our daughter and may save your life or the life of a loved one if you use them when needed. Men, you are the protectors of your family. Do you know how to fight when your enemy comes? I want to make you an expert in armed combat. So you know how to use your spiritual weapons when under attack. We are not "armed forces" if we are not "armed with force" (God’s presence). Then you can force back darkness.

You must understand you have a supernatural enemy who wants to destroy you and your family. He is spiritual so you must fight him in the spiritual dimension with spiritual weapons. Our struggles are not against people but spiritual powers of darkness and forces of evil in the atmosphere. (Eph 6:12 ESV). The Bible says that Satan actively “creeps around as an intimidating wild beast searching for someone to prey on, swallow and consume.” (1 Peter 5:8). This means not just hurt you but bite into you, swallow you and digest you.That is why Peter says, "Watch out! Be on alert!"

God knows the struggles you would have with demonic forces and has given you weapons to use to resist them. The Jewish Bible says in Eph 6:13 “we are fighting “spiritual forces…so take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won you will be still standing.”

What is your war equipment? What are your weapons? Let's look in the Bible – the Word of Truth. You may remember these;

  1. The sword of the Spirit—the Word of God (Eph 6:17)

  2. The blood of Jesus (Rev 12:11 “They overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb”)

  3. Speaking the name of Jesus (Acts 16:18)

  4. Your spoken testimony or story (Rev 12:11 “They overcame him (Satan) by the word of their testimony)

  5. Prophecy - 1 Tim 1:18 “…remember the prophecy that was spoken over you; use it to wage a good warfare.”

Remember, “The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God…” (2 Cor 10:4-5 Amp) The following are weapons that we often use in our praise and worship of God.

  1. Marching or stomping (Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy…”). Have you seen worshipers in a service march around the sanctuary? I know some women who decided to do something about the children in their elementary school loosing their virginity. So they dressed as joggers and marched around the school proclaiming, “every place on which our feet will tread you have given it to us (Duet 11:24). This school is under the authority of Jesus Christ.” The trend reversed because mothers used their weapons of war and pushed back darkness. The Bible says that Judah (praise) will tread down the serpent (Ps 91:13).

  2. Lifted Hands - (Ex 17:11) “when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed and when he let down his hand, Amalek’s (evil & hellish horde) prevailed.” It is important to note that this enemy that Moses was fighting sacrificed their children to demon idols. These men were under the influence of evil and violent spirits. When Moses simply lifted his hands in the air like a banner or flag the Satanic army was defeated. When his hands were down the enemy triumphed over God’s people. So lift your hands like banners before God serving notice to spiritual powers whose kingdom you are part of and see if your enemies will not be turned back.

  3. More weapons to come…subscribe to blog and get a notice when the others are posted
