CHRISTIANS EVERYWHERE ARE GETTING PREGNANT
Jack Hayford in his book The Christmas Miracle said, "It may seem strange, but incarnation has to do with people “getting pregnant” expecting more than they ever dreamed, becoming open to possibilities they could never realize by themselves.”
Men and women everywhere are becoming pregnant with promise. Heaven is still waiting to pour promise into earth’s most unlikely people. They will conceive! But will they deliver?
Just as God chose a virgin girl as an avenue through whom He would miraculously give man His great gift in the natural, so He is giving life, hope and promise to us spiritually. In marriages, businesses, relationships and ministry God comes to give what Jack Hayford calls “The Mary Miracle.”
“Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “For you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus." Luke 1:26-27 NLT
The Mary miracle is real and spiritual and available to all who believe. We can all get pregnant. Some may say, God doesn’t want to visit me. That is for the super-spiritual Christians. However, God does want to directly and personally visit you. It has nothing to do with your feelings of unworthiness. You are a son or daughter of God seated with Him in heavenly places.
Mary’s miracle was not only a “once in eternity” miracle. It points to the promise and creates a pathway for anyone to experience God’s power and purpose. What He does in Mary is a sample of what He can do in all our lives. Pastor Jack says, “He does these apparently “occasional wonders,” not to preempt our hopes of the same, but to promote them.”
The miracle that God did in Mary points to the possibilities of “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” The supernatural conception was not only a physical, biological and transcendent reality it represented the creative power of God’s declared Word. Heaven came down to touch Mary and can come down to touch you.
Believe “The Mary Miracle” was never intended to be only for Mary. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him… should have (get pregnant with) everlasting life.”
Mary’s miracle did not come by human seed because her miracle was not physical or mental in its source. It is from God, the Father of all. He is coming to you this Christmas to say, “I’m not finished creating in you yet! The promise still lives. You WILL give birth to it!”
You may ask, “Mary Did You Know?” Well, I want to ask you, “[Your name] did you know?" You will conceive and give birth to the promise God has given you. I want to encourage you to believe that promise and receive it. For “unto you a promise is given.” You WILL conceive and WILL give birth. What is its name? I'd love to hear the name of the promise God gave you.
