SEVEN BENEFITS TO HAVING A MENTOR
I want to share with you highlights from the T2 Mentoring Retreat we had this weekend with Christine D'Clario. In this short excerpt she is encouraging us to go deeper in our faith and relationship with God. If we want to grow in fruitfulness we must be more deeply rooted in Jesus.
"He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit
in its season and whose leaf does not wither.
Whatever he does prospers." Ps 1:3
Leaders came from Toronto, Miami, Houston, Tulsa, and Dallas to learn and grow in life and ministry. We worshiped, visited, prayed, sang, cried and bonded in the love of God.
Mentoring is for growing and developing as a better person and minister.
Here are seven benefits to having a mentor.
You gain your mentor's expertise and experience
You receive critical feedback in key areas you might want to grow
You learn specific skills and knowledge relevant to your goals
You have a friendly ear to share frustrations and successes
You are able to network with other influential leaders your mentor influences
You have someone who wants to see you succeed and cheers your one
You have someone who commits to praying for you, your family and ministry.
In what area do you want to grow?
Let me know how I can pray for you. Kimberly and I are here to help you grow.
