WHY IS THE HOLY LAND HOLY?

I don't know how many times I have been to the Holy Land. Six or seven perhaps. The most memorable was in the year 2000. I was the worship leader for Dr. Yonggi Cho's communion service on the Sea of Galilee. We were told it was most likely the same hill where Jesus taught and did the miracle of feeding the 5,000.

To sing there with my team from the US had a special presence about it. You see the land God gave the Hebrews was the land of a very dark people. God said to Abraham, and Moses, I have given this land to you. God said go step onto the land, annihilate the evil squatters, and possess it which was Joshua's responsibility.

God directed them to praise him there and he would inhabit their praises. They brought the ark of our covenant into the land and fought for the land in the name of the Lord. The land is holy because it is this part of the world God repeatedly revealed His manifest presence. But this is what is interesting...

"You are to take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess." Num 33:53 BSB

...It is in that land that God raised up worshipers, musicians, and singers to minister music His way, and for His purpose. These kingdom musicians and singers, like the school of prophets, David, Jehoshaphat's choir, Isaiah, Habakuk, the Levites, and all the New Testaments singers - Mary, Elizabeth, Zechariah, Shepherds, the angel army, Paul, and so many more, saw the power of God's presence revealed in that land.

This theme of the music of God's kingdom is so relevant today in our times that I am praying that God raise up a tribe of end-time kingdom musicians who minister music in the authority and power of God resulting in His presence manifested and miracles occur.

I encourage you even though you may not be a musician you can still sing praises and prayers to evoke God's presence in your circumstances and your land (the things and places you possess).

Below is an opportunity for you to visit God's Holy Land with others who are seeking God's manifest presence, in those very Holy places.

Will you join us in the Holy Land and encounter God's presence and power in the land of His presence? Imagine singing where David sang and where Jesus sang in worship to His Father.
